1. General Information

Vila Crisalia is a vacation property located in the village of Sibiel, Sălișteanca commune, Sibiu County, Romania. Accommodation services are provided by the property operator, an authorized individual operating under Romanian law. The official website is crisalia.ro.

By using the crisalia.ro website and/or making a reservation, the guest confirms that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions. Please read this document carefully before making a reservation.

2. Definitions

"The Villa" – the vacation property Vila Crisalia, located in the village of Sibiel, Sălișteanca commune, Sibiu County, including all interior and exterior spaces of the property.
"The Operator" – the authorized individual who manages and provides accommodation services at Vila Crisalia.
"The Guest" – any natural or legal person who makes a reservation and/or uses the services provided by Vila Crisalia.
"The Reservation" – the guest's firm commitment to use the villa's accommodation services, confirmed by payment of the agreed deposit.
"The Stay Period" – the time interval between check-in and check-out, as agreed at the time of reservation.
"The Deposit" – the amount paid by the guest upon confirming the reservation, representing 50% of the total stay value.

3. Scope of Services

Vila Crisalia offers accommodation services through the exclusive rental of the entire villa. The property has 7 double rooms with a maximum capacity of 14 persons. The rental is exclusively whole-villa — the villa is not rented partially (individual rooms are not available separately).

The accommodation price includes access to all villa facilities:

All 7 double rooms, each with private bathroom
Interior common areas (lounge, dining room, fully equipped kitchen)
Heated outdoor swimming pool
Outdoor jacuzzi, available year-round
Sauna
Gazebo and barbecue area
Garden and courtyard, play areas
Free private parking

The operator reserves the right to modify the available amenities or facilities, with prior notice to guests who have made firm reservations.

4. Reservations and Confirmations

Reservations are made exclusively by direct contact with the operator through one of the following channels:

At the time of inquiry, the guest should provide: desired check-in and check-out dates, number of persons, type of event (vacation, anniversary, group event, etc.) and any special requests.

The operator will confirm availability and provide a price offer within 24 hours of receiving the inquiry. A reservation becomes firm only after payment of the 50% deposit and written confirmation by the operator.

A reservation not confirmed by deposit payment does not guarantee the availability of the requested dates. The operator has the right to accept other reservations for the same dates until the deposit is received.

5. Pricing and Payment Methods

Vila Crisalia rates are customized based on several factors: time of year, length of stay, number of persons, type of event, and any additional services requested. Prices are communicated individually upon request.

Payment structure:

Deposit (50%): payable upon reservation confirmation, within 48 hours of receiving the accepted offer.
Remaining balance (50%): payable at least 7 days before the check-in date.

Accepted payment methods:

Bank transfer to the account indicated by the operator
Cash, upon arrival or as agreed in advance

All prices are expressed in Romanian lei (RON). The operator issues a receipt or fiscal invoice upon request, in accordance with applicable Romanian fiscal legislation. Failure to pay the remaining balance by the agreed deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation, with forfeiture of the deposit, in accordance with the cancellation policy.

6. Cancellation Policy

The Vila Crisalia cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancellation at least 14 calendar days before check-in: Full refund of the paid deposit, without penalties.
Cancellation between 7 and 14 calendar days before check-in: 50% of the deposit is refunded. The remaining 50% of the deposit is retained as a cancellation fee.
Cancellation less than 7 calendar days before check-in or no-show: The deposit is non-refundable. If the remaining balance had already been paid, it is also non-refundable.
Force majeure: In proven cases of force majeure (natural disasters, legal travel restrictions, etc.), the operator may offer a free rescheduling of the stay to a later available date, without financial penalties. This decision rests solely with the operator.

Cancellations must be communicated in writing, by email to vilacrisalia@gmail.com or via WhatsApp message to +40 742 116 999. The cancellation date is considered the date of receipt of the cancellation confirmation from the operator.

7. Check-in / Check-out

Check-in time: from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
Check-out time: by 11:00 AM on the day of departure.

Late check-in (after 8:00 PM) or extended check-out (after 11:00 AM) are possible only with the prior agreement of the operator and may be subject to additional charges. At check-in, the primary guest must present a valid identity document. The operator reserves the right to deny access to persons who cannot identify themselves.

At check-in, the guest will sign a handover protocol for the villa and may be required to pay a security deposit for potential damages, refundable at check-out in the absence of any damage or missing items.

8. Guest Obligations

The guest agrees to comply with the following rules throughout the stay:

To respect the villa's internal regulations (posted on the property and available upon request).
To maintain the integrity of the villa's property and use the facilities with care and responsibility.
Not to exceed the maximum permitted capacity of 14 persons without the operator's prior agreement.
To identify themselves upon the operator's request and allow registration of all accommodated persons, in accordance with Romanian law.
Not to organize commercial or public events without the operator's prior written consent.
To return the villa in the same condition in which it was received, clean and with all items intact.
To immediately inform the operator of any malfunction, damage, or incident occurring on the property.

9. Liability

Operator liability: Vila Crisalia is not responsible for the loss or damage of guests' personal belongings brought onto the property. The operator is not liable for accidents or incidents resulting from non-compliance with internal regulations, safety instructions, or improper use of facilities.

Guest liability: The guest is fully responsible for any material damage caused to the property, belongings, or equipment of the villa during the stay, regardless of whether caused by the guest, group members, or invited third parties. The value of damages will be determined by the operator and paid by the guest before check-out or subsequently, based on a written agreement.

The operator cannot be held responsible for situations beyond their control: power outages, technical failures of external providers, unfavorable weather conditions, or other cases of force majeure.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the crisalia.ro website — including but not limited to: texts, photographs, images, logos, graphics, and design — is the exclusive property of Vila Crisalia or is used with the consent of the rights holders. Reproduction, copying, distribution, or use for any commercial purpose of these materials without prior written consent from the operator is strictly prohibited and may result in legal liability.

11. Personal Data Protection

Vila Crisalia processes guests' personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national legislation. Data collected (name, surname, contact details, identity data) is used exclusively for the purpose of managing reservations and fulfilling legal accommodation record-keeping obligations.

Data is not transmitted to third parties, except as required by law (e.g., public authorities). Guests have the right of access, rectification, erasure, and objection regarding their personal data, and may exercise these rights by contacting the operator. 12. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by applicable Romanian law. Any dispute arising in connection with the interpretation or execution of these terms shall be resolved amicably. In the absence of an amicable agreement, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Sibiu County, Romania.

The operator reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice. The updated version will be published on the crisalia.ro website and will take effect from the date of publication.
