House Rules

Thank you for choosing Vila Crisalia for your stay. To ensure a pleasant experience for all our guests and to maintain the property in optimal condition, please read and comply with these house rules. By completing check-in, you fully accept the rules below.

1. Check-in / Check-out

  • Check-in: from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Rooms cannot be occupied before this time without prior agreement from the manager.
  • Check-out: by 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Late departure may be subject to additional charges.
  • Late check-in: arrivals after 8:00 PM must be notified in advance by phone or WhatsApp at +40 742 116 999.
  • At check-in, the primary guest must present a valid identity document and sign the villa handover protocol.

2. Maximum Capacity

  • Vila Crisalia has a maximum capacity of 14 persons, distributed across 7 double rooms.
  • The presence of any additional persons beyond the number declared at reservation requires the prior consent of the manager and may be subject to an additional charge.
  • Access by undeclared persons without prior consent constitutes a serious breach of these house rules and may lead to immediate termination of the accommodation agreement without refund.

3. General Rules

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all interior spaces of the villa (rooms, lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathrooms, hallways). Smoking is permitted exclusively in the outdoor courtyard in designated areas.
  • The use of indoor footwear or slippers inside the villa is recommended to maintain the cleanliness of the spaces.
  • Guests are asked to treat all villa items with care: furniture, appliances, bed linen, towels, crockery. Any damage will be charged to the responsible guest.
  • Modification or relocation of furniture is not permitted without the manager's consent.
  • Guests are asked to close windows and doors when leaving the villa or before sleeping, especially in windy or rainy weather.
  • The use of candles or other open flame sources indoors is prohibited without the explicit consent of the manager.

4. Quiet Hours

  • Quiet hours are daily between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. During this period, guests are asked to reduce music volume, outdoor conversations, and any noisy activities.
  • Compliance with quiet hours is mandatory, in accordance with local regulations and to avoid disturbing the neighborhood.
  • During daytime hours, music volume should be kept at a moderate level that does not disturb neighbors.
  • Parties and events with amplified music are permitted only with the prior consent of the manager and subject to compliance with quiet hours.

5. Swimming Pool

  • Use of the swimming pool is at your own risk. Vila Crisalia is not liable for accidents resulting from non-compliance with safety rules.
  • Children under 12 may access the pool only under the direct and constant supervision of a responsible adult.
  • Pool hours: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM. Access to the pool outside these hours is not permitted.
  • A shower is required before entering the pool.
  • Persons with skin or infectious conditions are not permitted to use the pool.
  • Throwing objects or waste into the water is prohibited.
  • Consumption of food in the immediate vicinity of the pool should be limited to maintain water cleanliness.
  • Jumping and violent behavior in the pool area are prohibited.

6. Jacuzzi

  • Use of the jacuzzi is at your own risk.
  • The maximum capacity of the jacuzzi is 6 persons simultaneously.
  • The jacuzzi is available year-round, including during the cold season.
  • A shower before use is recommended; avoid use after consuming alcohol or medications that affect circulation.
  • Persons with cardiovascular conditions, blood pressure issues, or pregnant women are advised to consult a doctor before use.
  • Children under 12 are not permitted without adult supervision.

7. Sauna

  • Use of the sauna is at your own risk.
  • Sauna hours: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
  • Adequate hydration before, during, and after sauna use is recommended.
  • The recommended maximum duration of a sauna session is 15–20 minutes, followed by a cooling break.
  • Use of the sauna is not recommended for persons with cardiovascular conditions, high or low blood pressure, pregnant women, or persons under the influence of alcohol.
  • Always use a towel on the sauna benches. Do not pour chemical substances or perfumes onto the stones without the manager's consent.

8. Kitchen

  • The kitchen is fully equipped and available for free use by all guests.
  • After each use, guests are asked to wash used dishes or load them into the dishwasher, and to clean the work surfaces and stove/hob.
  • Guests' food is to be stored exclusively in the designated refrigeration spaces. Perishable food left behind will be removed at check-out.
  • Household waste is to be disposed of in the special containers for selective collection (plastic, paper, glass, general waste), in accordance with the instructions posted in the kitchen.
  • Removing crockery, utensils, or other kitchen items from the villa is not permitted.

9. Gazebo and Barbecue Area

  • The gazebo and barbecue area are included in the accommodation price and available to all guests.
  • After using the barbecue, guests are asked to remove ash and food residue and to clean the grill.
  • Special attention must be paid to open fire: do not leave the fire unattended and ensure it is completely extinguished before leaving the barbecue area.
  • Solid fuel (charcoal, wood) may only be used in the designated barbecue. Open fires in other areas of the courtyard or garden are not permitted.
  • Waste from barbecue use should be disposed of in the designated containers.

10. Parking

  • Vila Crisalia provides free private parking for guests on the villa property.
  • Parking is exclusively for accommodated guests. Access by third-party vehicles is not permitted without the manager's consent.
  • Vila Crisalia is not liable for any material damage or theft affecting vehicles parked on the property. Parking is at your own risk.
  • Guests are asked to park in an orderly manner, without blocking access for other vehicles or the entrance gate.

11. Pets

  • Pets are not permitted on the Vila Crisalia property, neither indoors nor outdoors.
  • Guests wishing to bring pets must obtain explicit consent from the manager before booking. Acceptance is at the sole discretion of the operator.

12. Damages and Liability

  • The guest is fully liable for any damage caused to the property, belongings, or equipment of the villa during the stay, regardless of who caused it (the guest, group members, or invited persons).
  • Any damage or malfunction discovered must be reported immediately to the manager. Failure to declare damage may be considered bad faith and may aggravate the guest's liability.
  • The value of damage will be assessed by the manager and paid by the guest before check-out or subsequently, based on a written agreement.
  • A security deposit may be collected at check-in for potential damages, refundable at check-out in the absence of any damage.

13. Final Provisions

  • Non-compliance with any provision of these house rules may result in immediate termination of the accommodation agreement, with the guest being required to vacate the property without right to refund of amounts paid.
  • The manager or their representatives have the right to access the property at any time to verify compliance with the rules, with prior notification to guests.
  • Vila Crisalia reserves the right to update these house rules. The updated version will be posted on the property and available upon request.
